This is a guided hike. Your tour will start at the Lelei Village at Tuvaruhu after a short trip by car or bus from your hotel.

After crossing the Matanikau River, the hike will begin uphill to the top of Galloping Horse Hills, which is featured in the movie. “The Thin Red Line” based on the novel with
the same title by James Jones.

The hike take approximately 1 1⁄2 or 2 hours to the waterfall (depending on how fit you are).
There is a steep climbing up and down hills, uneven terrains, slippery at times and is a very hard hike.

You may wish to return the same route by hiking or floating down the length of the river back Lelei Village. Be ready to get wet and have a good pair of hiking shoes. (Bring your own lunch and plenty of water).
Please note that you must b healthy and fit for this tour.
