This guided tour has been designed to include scenes of the Battle of Guadalcanal especially the areas held by the Japanese Imperial Forces in their efforts to regain Henderson Field, which was initially built by the Japanese Forces using Korean labourers and Solomon Islanders.
Enroute you will drive past Kakabona Village, Poha River, Bonegi Wreck, Tasifarongo and ending the tour at the Outdoor Vilu War Museum.
Most of the drive will be through coconut plantation and along the western coast of Guadalcanal Island with Savo Island, Florida Islands and Iron Bottom Sound on your right as you go westward. On the way back, you can stop at Bonegi Beach for lunch (bring your own), an ideal spot for snorkelling.
